Results: In this research, after conducting interviews and coding the data, 108 initial independent codes were created. The point that has been repeated and noticed the most in these codes was the development of knowledge-based sports businesses, which was placed as the focal point of examining causal, contextual, intervening, strategies and the outcomes. 23 codes related to causal factors, 20 contextual codes, 17 intervening codes, 28 strategy codes and 20 codes related to the outcomes of the development of knowledge-based sports businesses were identified.
