This study aimed to examine the impact of using artificial intelligence (AI)-based tools on job performance, with a focus on the mediating roles of perceived value and knowledge acquisition among physical education teachers in Khorasan Razavi Province. The statistical population of this study included 3,938 physical education teachers in Khorasan Razavi Province in 2024. Based on Krejcie and Morgan’s table, a sample size of 351 participants was determined. This research employed a causal-comparative design using a questionnaire-based approach. Standardized questionnaires were used to measure the use of AI tools, perceived value, knowledge acquisition, and job performance. The reliability coefficients of the questionnaires were estimated at 0.84, 0.81, 0.85, and 0.88, respectively. The results of data analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM) indicated that the use of AI had a significant positive effect on job performance, perceived value, and knowledge acquisition. Moreover, both perceived value and knowledge acquisition had significant positive effects on job performance. The findings suggest that employing AI tools, due to their numerous advantages, positively influences the growth and enhancement of job performance among physical education teachers in Khorasan Razavi. In this context, teachers’ perceived value and the knowledge gained from AI technologies play a crucial mediating role.
