Developing a model of strategic priorities in the development of beach football in Iran

Abstract
Introduction: The aim of the research was to compile a model of strategic priorities in the development of beach football in Iran.
Methods: The research method is descriptive and practical in terms of purpose. The research data was collected in the field and in a mixed way (qualitative and quantitative). Sampling in the qualitative section was based on a specialized and purposeful panel and was equal to 18 beach soccer experts and sports management professors. The statistical population in the quantitative section included managers, experts and prominent coaches of beach soccer equal to 75 people, and due to the limited number of members, the entire population was selected as a sample. Research data was obtained through the review of upstream documents, research background, experts' opinions and open and closed questionnaires. The SWAT analysis method was used to formulate strategies and the interpretive structural modeling method was used to determine action priorities.
Results: The findings showed that there are eight strengths, eight weaknesses, no opportunities and no threats in Iranian beach football, and using SWAT analysis, 12 strategies were obtained, which were structured in six levels. The basic beach football development strategies and the creation and development of an integrated system of talent management and facilitating the development of players were placed at the fifth level, and the strategy of developing the empowerment and productivity of managerial, technical and specialized human resources was placed at the sixth level.
Conclusion: Paying attention to the development of basic beach soccer, the development of beach soccer academies, and technical empowerment and development of the productivity of human resources to the development of beach soccer is the first priority of the managers of the soccer federation and the beach soccer committee.
