Designing a model for the impact of innovation on the consequences of hosting sporting events

Abstract
 The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of innovation on the outcome of hosting Iranian sporting events. This research was of developmental-applied type. And the statistical population included experts of sporting events.After confirming the validity of the researcher-made questionnaire by 20 experts, based on the final number of items in the questionnaire, 111 people were included in the statistical sample in a targeted and accessible manner. From structural equation modeling and PLS software. Used to analyze research data. Based on the results of route analysis, four dimensions of innovation including insurance and security, technology, aesthetics and respect for customer loyalty (0.74), business performance (0.69) and host city development (0.65), had a positive and significant effect.
